Geography Webbynar #3 (2020-2021): Jessica Jacobs on film for research and practice in geography

For the third Geography Webbynar / Geography Colloquium, the UP Department of Geography and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) present Jessica Jacobs from QMUL-School of Geography for a webinar talk entitled Filming a Different Sense of Place: Working with Film for Geographic Research and Pedagogy. 

Dr Jacobs who is the founder of filmgeographies.com and convener/coordinator of the Film Geography Specialty Group at the American Association of Geographers (AAG) has done funded research among the Bedouins in the Sinai Peninsula, particularly in southern Jordan. She is completing a book for Sage Publishers called Film as a Research Method: A Practice-based Guide.
