PGS Lecture Series 2021-12: David Garcia on geospatial ethnography for humanitarian initiatives

The Philippine Geographical Society presents a talk by David Garcia on its 12th PGS Lecture Series for 2021. The Mapmaker as David is widely known will discuss geospatial ethnography and share his journey as a geospatial worker and scholar collaborating with various groups and stakeholders on humanitarian projects, urban design and planning initiatives, and the crowdsourcing communities of practice.

David is a PhD candidate at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand and founder of the Ministry of Mapping, a Philippine-based collective of geospatial workers.
