Geography Colloquium #9 (2019-2020): Aaron Vicencio on sonic geographies of Ateneo Wild

Aaron Vicencio will speak on sonic geographies and acoustic ecologies of the urban wildlife at Ateneo de Manila University premises for the Geography Colloquium Series. Entitled From Hearing to Listening, the Sounds of Nature: Sonic Geographies of Ateneo Wild, the talk will be held on Friday, February 7 at 4:00PM in Pavilion 2248. This talk is sponsored by the Geographies of Media (GEM) Research Cluster.

Trained in psychology and human geography at the Ateneo de Manila and UP Diliman respectively, Vicencio's talk is part of the project that documents biophony for an immersive sound experience. This multi-partnered endeavor aims to map the frequency of seeing, hearing, and feeling nature.
