As part of the Counter-mapping as Urban Resistance Seminar Series, we are having this public webinar on 24 January 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Philippine Standard Time).
As the first event of the seminar series, this will serve as a kickoff for future conversations about the practice of counter-mapping as a form of resistance. Members of the Counter-mapping PH Network will talk about previous local initiatives as well as their reflections on counter-mapping. Most importantly, this will punctuate various communities and their efforts in asserting their rights in the face of dispossession.
We are inviting everyone to join us in this event by registering at bit.ly/CMURwebinar . The webinar will be held via Zoom and will be livestreamed through the Facebook page of Counter-mapping as Urban Resistance Seminar Series and Youtube channel of the UP Department of Geography.
A Certificate of Attendance will be given to participants who will pre-register, attend, and evaluate the webinar.
